Aesthetics Treatment Aftercare

To achieve optimal results and minimize potential side effects, please follow these aftercare instructions carefully:

1. General Aftercare Instructions

  • Avoid Touching the Treated Area: Refrain from touching, rubbing, or picking at the treated area to prevent irritation or infection.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to assist the body in the healing process and to maintain skin hydration.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep out of direct sunlight for at least 7 days and use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily.

  • No Hot Showers or Baths: Use lukewarm water to cleanse the treated area for 24-48 hours to reduce inflammation and prevent skin sensitivity.

  • Avoid Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup to the treated area for 24 hours unless otherwise advised.

  • No Intense Physical Activity: Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for 24-48 hours to reduce swelling and the risk of infection.

  • Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: These can increase swelling and bruising. Avoid them for 24 hours post-treatment.

  • Keep Upright: Stay upright for at least 4 hours post-treatment to prevent product migration.

  • Avoid Massaging the Area: Do not apply pressure to the injection sites for 24 hours.

  • Apply a Cold Compress: If swelling or bruising occurs, apply a clean, cool compress for 10-15 minutes every hour.

  • No Facial Treatments: Avoid facials, massages, and skin treatments for 2 weeks to allow products to settle.

  • Exercise Caution with Sleeping: Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first 2 nights to minimize swelling.

  • Avoid Exfoliation: Do not use retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or vitamin C products for 7 days.

  • Moisturize Regularly: Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer as needed to reduce peeling and flaking.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: The skin will be more sensitive; avoid the sun and use SPF 50+ for 2 weeks.

  • Do Not Pick or Peel: Let the skin naturally shed to avoid scarring.

  • Avoid Heat: Stay away from hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours.

  • Cool the Area: Apply a cold compress to reduce redness and discomfort.

  • Moisturize: Keep the skin hydrated using a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Apply SPF 50+ and avoid direct sun exposure for 2-4 weeks.

  • Do Not Exfoliate: Avoid exfoliating products for 7 days.

  • Expect Mild Redness/Swelling: This is normal and should subside within 48 hours.

  • No Cleansing for 6 Hours: Allow serums to fully absorb before washing your face.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to maximize treatment results.

  • Avoid Makeup: Refrain from wearing makeup for 24 hours.

  • No Exfoliants: Avoid retinoids and exfoliating products for 48 hours.

  • Sunscreen is Essential: Apply SPF 30+ daily to protect the skin and maintain results.

  • Redness and Swelling: Common after injectables and peels; should subside within 24-48 hours.

  • Bruising: May occur; use arnica cream to reduce discoloration.

  • Itching or Tightness: Use a gentle moisturizer to alleviate discomfort.

  • Severe swelling, redness, or pain that increases after 48 hours.

  • Signs of infection, such as pus, increased warmth, or tenderness.

  • Unusual lumps, bumps, or asymmetry after filler treatments.

  • Persistent itching, rash, or hives.
